- Introduction to player

Leather’s ancestor was a part of the original colonists that settled the land around the Axeblade mountains. He kept a journal detailing his time during the settling, which becomes the book that is later used to summon the Slashers.

In the 1970’s Leather lived on the farm with his Mother and two Brothers, Hitch and Jammy. A grandma and father are also mentioned, but only in passing.

Believing their family blood to be tainted by “the sins of those that came before” they seek to purify their “dirty” blood with the killing of witches. Believing that each dead witch brings them closer to cutting out “the rot of their bloodline.”

Often these “witches” are simply trespassers on the Famly’s land.

In the year 1974 (or 1978) four young people attending a nearby festival trespass onto the family’s land and are later found in literal pieces.
